Intro
Superfiliate
Superfiliate is a creator-led growth platform for DTC brands. Brands used to find two or three creators who really landed and then wonder how to do more of that; They turned it into a system - affiliate revenue, creator content feeding paid media, and awareness into audiences you can't buy your way into. Their co-founder and CEO has never let a tool touch his LinkedIn - not one word has been published from his account that he didn't write himself. So the problem was never automation. It was inputs. He was working "People you may know," picking people off title and company, with no way to know whether they were active, in-market, or already talking to someone else. traxy replaced the guess with signal. It now drives 10 to 20 qualified meetings a month, into a calendar where quality is the only number that counts.

Before traxy
The problem
Superfiliate's outbound ran on the founder's own time and his own instincts. Find 30 minutes, log on to LinkedIn, scroll "People you may know," click connect, send a message. It mattered - outbound has been mission-critical since day one, back when nobody was showing up to superfiliate.com on their own and nobody knew what Superfiliate was. But the signal underneath it was thin. Role and company tell you someone fits. They don't tell you whether that person has logged in this month, whether they're actively trying to solve the problem, or whether they're already deep in someone else's buying process. No urgency, no relevance, no timing. And you never find out - you don't see who ignores the request. He'd clicked into most of the category tools trying to fix it. Every one of them wanted him to change how he worked, and most wanted to automate the exact part he refuses to automate. Sales Navigator got paid for a few times and never really used.
The Gap
Most teams don't have a lead problem, they have a timing problem. Superfiliate could always find the right title at the right company. What no list could tell them was whether that person was active, aware, or anywhere near ready to buy - and the same lead at the same brand can change entirely over three months.
The shift
Why traxy
traxy didn't ask him to change anything. There has never been a word published from his account that didn't come from him, and that wasn't up for negotiation - the authenticity was the fixed part of the process. What he needed was better inputs into a motion he already knew worked: connect with people, reach out, have conversations. traxy surfaces the people already engaging with relevant content - his, the market's, competitors' and scores them against his ICP. That's a signal no static list produces. When a competitor posts a case study, the people engaging with it are power users who have already qualified themselves. It also stayed organic. "I'm not paying to be in your inbox. I'm just showing up at the right time to the right person." A demo from someone genuinely curious beats one you bought with a $200 gift card. And it fit the stack. Superfiliate had just come out of a full go-to-market overhaul - data, processes, vendors with the CRM as the source of truth. A point solution that can't flow into that is dead on arrival.
Before & after
The transformation
From title to timing. The input stopped being role and company and became live engagement scored against ICP. Same process, dramatically better list. From solo to systemized. What started as one founder's personal habit now has a revenue operations team building around it while he still goes in himself, finds 12 people in ICP, and sends the notes personally. From a busy calendar to a qualified one. Qualification now happens at the signal layer, before anything gets booked, so the AEs' calls got better rather than just more numerous. From his own audience to the whole market. Competitor content and industry conversations became a lead source instead of something to watch.

The takeaway
The instinct when outbound stops scaling is to automate it. Superfiliate did the opposite - they protected the manual part and fixed the input. That matters more than it sounds. LinkedIn caps you at roughly 150 connection requests a week. The constraint is fixed, so the only real variable left is who occupies those slots. Fill them with people who match a title and you've decided your hit rate before you send anything. Fill them with people who engaged with something relevant last week and the same hour of work produces a different business. Cold email is flatlining for a lot of teams and LinkedIn is where that pipeline is moving. The primitives don't change - good list, good research, good message. traxy is how you get the first one right.
