Intro

THOUGHTFUL.

Thoughtful is an ABM thought leadership agency for B2B companies. They run the whole system - what executives should be posting, and making sure it actually reaches the target account list through thought leadership ads, connection campaigns and curated commenting. Their hardest account was seven subject-matter experts who travel constantly and are nearly impossible to pin down. No LinkedIn backend access, no visibility into DMs or demo requests, no way to prove anything beyond saves and impressions. With traxy, that same account went from delivering zero leads to hundreds, pulled from posts that had been live for 18 months, and sent to the client's sales team weekly as names they can action.

“It went from delivering zero leads to leads… hundreds of leads. Being able to send leads onto their team that they can action is a completely new unlock we didn't have before.”

Before traxy

The problem

Thoughtful's client executives couldn't be logged into. Securely accessing seven traveling SMEs' LinkedIn accounts meant VPN logins and admin overhead, and the little time the agency got with them had to go toward content ideas, not screen shares. So reporting stopped at the surface. How did this post perform? How many saves? Nobody could see whether people were messaging the SMEs, asking for demos, or moving anywhere at all. Attribution was reverse-engineered by hand: run a promo, watch the business, compare against years when there was no thought leadership. The alternative was hiring people to manually scrape engagers post by post, or doing nothing and staying stuck.

The Gap

The client was happy with the service, but “awareness is up and business is good” isn't a number.

The shift

Why traxy

traxy reads the signal from the outside. No backend access, no client-side configuration, nothing for a busy executive to approve or log into. It also worked backwards. A year and a half of Thoughtful's posts already existed, and every person who had engaged with them was still sitting there. traxy pulled leads from all of it instantly which turned a historical engagement into quantified value on day one. And it surfaced people who weren't already in the client's system which mattered, because the client's goal is share of market, not a tidier version of the list they already had.

Before & after

The transformation

The deliverable changed. Weekly traxy signal reports go to the client's sales team. The team loves receiving them, and there's now a tangible input into their sales process where there was previously nothing. Thought leadership became measurable per person. Across five to seven SMEs, effectiveness is visible by individual including who has the most ICP-heavy audience, which is not always who you'd guess from vanity metrics. Manual analysis got automated. Pulling a week of signals and running keyword analysis across titles and companies to isolate specific sub-verticals used to be a manual job. Now it's a prompt. Warmth became a history, not a single like. Most buyers read LinkedIn without ever engaging. Tracking engagement across competitor and industry-adjacent content, not just the client's own posts, builds a case that someone is genuinely warm even if they haven't touched a post in months.

The takeaway

Thoughtful delivers signals and leads to every client on a weekly cadence. This account was the exception with seven executives nobody could log into, which meant the one thing they couldn't produce was proof. But the leads were never missing. They were in the engagement on posts that had already gone out. Months of people raising their hand in the only way LinkedIn allows, with nobody on the other side reading it… until traxy. Hannah's advice to any agency owner in the same position: build a system that shows you engagement in relation to your pipeline deals. If you can't see when someone is engaged and what happened next, you're not running a channel. You're running a content calendar.
