RocketReach Plugs 700M Contacts Into Gong — Revenue Platforms Are Becoming Data Marketplaces
Gong customers can now pull contact data from RocketReach directly into Gong. RocketReach announced on October 1, 2026, that it has become a Gong Enrich Data Partner, bringing what it describes as 700 million-plus preverified contacts into Gong's AI-powered Revenue Graph.
How it works
Gong Enrich lets users connect third-party data providers into the Gong platform. Per the announcement, admins can control exactly where RocketReach sits in their enrichment waterfall and in CRM syncs. Teams can also use existing RocketReach credits through Gong's Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) option before drawing on Gong credits for remaining gaps.
RocketReach says it is used by more than 30 million users and 95% of the S&P 500, and covers more than 700 million contacts and 60 million companies. Those are the company's own figures.
The trend: revenue platforms become data marketplaces
The partnership is less about one provider than about where enrichment now lives. Conversation-intelligence and CRM platforms increasingly want to be the place reps work, so they are pulling contact and company data in through waterfalls rather than asking teams to switch tabs.
The BYOK detail matters for budget owners. It acknowledges that most revenue teams already pay for at least one data provider, and lets them reuse those contracts inside the platform instead of paying twice — a sign that data credits, not seats, are becoming the unit revenue platforms compete on.
It also continues a run of September-to-October news pointing the same way: Apollo unveiled an "Intelligence Layer" at its September 30 ApolloNEXT conference, and the sales-data market has spent the year repricing toward fresh, connected data rather than static records.
What enrichment still does not tell you
A verified email answers how to reach someone. It does not answer whether now is the moment. Enrichment waterfalls are getting very good at contact accuracy; they are not built to detect that a named buyer just spent time with your content.
That is the timing layer. Engagement signals scored against your ICP — profile views, post engagement, repeat visits from the same person — are what turn a correct contact into a well-timed conversation. The engagement-to-pipeline process shows how to run them together.
traxy detects which buyers engage with your LinkedIn content, qualifies them against your ICP, and delivers them to Slack or your CRM while the attention is still warm. Start free with 200 credits a month.
